CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- The Women's Basketball Coaches' Association (WBCA) awarded the University of Hartford for its team success in the classroom as part of the annual Academic Top 25 Honor Roll released Thursday afternoon.
The Hawks, the America East regular season runners-up, led all conference squads with a 3.308 team grade-point average (GPA), which ranked 25th in the nation. Eleven members of the women's basketball team recently earned America East Academic Honor Roll status for GPAs of 3.00 or higher, including eight recognized on the Commissioner's Honor Roll for GPAs of at least 3.30.
